Location
The 12-storey multi-family residential building, representing block 152, is located in the Druzhba 1 residential district, in the southeastern part of Sofia, at the intersection of Iskarsko Shosse Blvd. and Krastyu Pastuhov Blvd., about 9 km from the city center, right next to the Ezerata Park.
The area is communicative, with well-developed infrastructure - public transport stops, shops and restaurants. Public transport lines serving the neighborhood: bus lines - 84, 88, 384, 604, tram lines - 20, 23. Sofia Airport is 3.5 km away, central bus station 11 km away, Iskar railway station 1 km away.
A new metro station has been built a few meters from the building, which will be put into operation by the end of 2014.

The residential building is massive, type of construction - “EPK” /“large-area formwork”/.
Large-area formwork is a technology for the construction of buildings from monolithic reinforced concrete. It uses formwork the size of an entire wall or the floor of a room and heavy cranes. The large number of monolithic reinforced concrete walls in EPK facilitate the absorption of seismic loads, which is why this type of construction is used in high-rise buildings, with which it is often associated. The facade and partition walls are made of various types of building blocks, sometimes panels.
The residential building has a certificate for the energy performance of the building, category “B”. According to the Law on Local Taxes and Fees, the presence of such a certificate “exempts the building” from local tax for a period of three years. This means that all apartment owners will pay only a household waste fee to the Sofia Municipality, without local tax, for a period of three years.
